Marriott International will open a new 155-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Bremen, Germany in 2010 under a franchise agreement reached with Baum Hotelbetriebsgesellschaft Bremen mbH, a subsidiary of the Baum Unternehmensgruppe, Hannover, Germany. Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH, one of the largest open-end investment funds in Germany, based in Frankfurt am Main, has purchased the project and Baum Unternehmensgruppe will develop the project for the owner.
